The Green Sports Alliance brings together venue operators, sports team executives and environmental scientists to share better practices and develop solutions to their environmental challenges. Alliance members represent nearly 600 sports teams and venues from 15 sports leagues in 14 countries. Largely North American membership. Annual conference typically late June.

Swiss-based association assembling European interests in environmentally and socially responsible sports & event management. Many international sport federation members. Annual meetings tend toward spring, often dovetail with other conferences.

Australian, Oceanian & Asian sports organizations assemble & discuss solutions through the Sports Environment Alliance. Annual conference is usually November.

UK based organization convening the community of practice around responsible resource management at professional and community facilities. Annual conference typically in March.


Beyond Sport promotes and celebrates social change through sports via its storytelling, key partnerships including UNICEF and many professional and international rightsholders and its marquee awards. Its primary event is in September.

The Women’s Sports Foundation was founded in 1974 by tennis legend, Billie Jean King, and is dedicated to creating leaders by ensuring all girls access to sports.
